New Sporting Fixtures Communication APP

Squad in Touch

Due to the increasing sporting opportunities we are now offering children, we have subscribed to “Squad In Touch”, a web-based solution that helps manage sport competitions, fixtures and clubs.

A letter introducing this change and explaining how to register has been emailed/hand delivered to parents of all Yr 5 and 6 children. If you have not received the letter, please see details below. We shall email again, prior to the next fixture / school-run club for your child. Please note that without a registration you will not be able to confirm your child's attendance in school sporting fixtures / school-run clubs.

All invitations for children to participate in school fixtures and internally run extra-curricular sports/physical activity clubs will be via this new App. This will replace the letters and reply slips that we currently issue.

N.B. Your child may not be currently involved in school sport or clubs, but we do endeavor to invite all children to at least one competition before the end of Year 6. Therefore, we would be very grateful if you could register at your earliest convenience. Many thanks.

In order to gain maximum benefit from the software you will be required to register an account whereby you will be able to:

See your child(ren)’s fixtures
o Obtain match details and updates with regards to fixture timings, venues, etc.
o Securely post your comments related to fixtures and your child’s attendance.

You need to create an account with Squad In Touch – it takes less than two minutes and is completely free. You can register using the

Squad In Touch website or via mobile application available on the App Store as well as Google Play, both provided free of charge.

In three easy steps:

1. You can sign up at
www.squadintouch.co.uk or download our mobile app from the Play Store for Android or from the App Store for iOS.
2. Enter your details and verify your mobile phone and email address. Parents and wider family members’ contact details can be registered for each child so everyone is kept in touch. If you have more than one child at school you just need to link your contact details to each of your children.
3. Select “Melbourne Junior School”. You can locate the school by entering the school name in the relevant field. If you need any help during the registration process, just get in touch with the support team email:
support@squadintouch.co.uk or chat to us live (located at the bottom right of the screen when you are on Squad In Touch website).

If you have any questions about registration please contact Mr Jenkinson, PE & School Sport Coordinator.
