Week beginning 20th July
Hi Willow and Rowan,
It was great to see you on that rainy Wednesday last week. Thank you very much for the many gifts we received - it was very kind of you.
We're not setting any Home Learning for the last two days as we think you've worked hard enough. We all need time to relax and reflect over the summer and come back refreshed and ready for a new year (your final year) at MJS.
If you want to keep your brains ticking over, your TT Rock Stars and Spelling Shed and Purple Mash accounts will still be active over the summer. Also, try to find some time to enjoy a good book - you need to keep up your reading stamina! There are many suggestions on the Book Blog on Purple Mash or the Recommended Reads list.
Please be kind and helpful at home. This has been a difficult time for everyone. Try to help out with some household chores - changing beds, hanging out washing, dishwasher duty, tidying bedrooms! All important life skills and if you work together, the jobs get done quickly.
Goodbye and good luck to Isaac W. We will miss you but you will be an asset to your new school.
Have a wonderful summer.
Virtual hugs and best wishes,
Mrs Missin, Mrs Graham and Mrs van Rooyen
