Daily message from Mrs Whirledge


The 14th July is a special day if you are French, or live in France. It is Bastille Day and commemorates the storming of the Bastille in 1789. This was a turning point in the French revolution.

In school we have had days to celebrate the French language and culture. Today please think about the French that you have been taught. Perhaps you could say some French phrases, or write some sentences. You could find out more about Bastille Day and what happens in France on this day.
