Introduction

At Melbourne Junior School, we want every pupil to reach their full potential. Whatever their start in life or whatever circumstances they face, we want all our pupils to be known as individuals and supported as individuals. Our values of Ambition, Participation and Belonging underpin our approach to planning provision for all our children.  We aim to use all the resources available to us to create a warm, safe and vibrant environment where our children enjoy their learning, participate in their school and wider community, and have a sense of belonging to their school. 

What is Pupil Premium?

The PPG, or Pupil Premium Grant is awarded to schools to:

• Raise the attainment of disadvantaged students (Pupil Premium students) and narrow any gaps compared to their non-PP peers.
• Support children and young people with parents in the regular armed forces
