Pupil Premium Strategy 2023- 2024

 

Introduction

At Melbourne Junior School, we want every pupil to 'be the best they can be'. Whatever their start in life or whatever circumstances they face, we want all our pupils to be known as individuals and supported as individuals. 

 

What is Pupil Premium?

The PPG, or Pupil Premium Grant is awarded to schools to:

 

  • Raise the attainment of disadvantaged students (Pupil Premium students) and closing any gaps compared to their non-PP peers.
  • Support children and young people with parents in the regular armed forces
