As part of the Year 6 unit on Harry Potter, Hawkeye Falconry came into school to work with the children. After a short display, all the children had the opportunity to fly the owls.
Forty pupils took part in the County Cross Country finals on Weds 17 April against fifteen other schools
On a blustery day, all of our pupils gave 100% effort in their races.
Overall Year 3 boys and girls finished in third place with Year 5&6 girls coming first.

A coach from the Lawn tennis Association came into school to work with children across the school, He is due to continue coaching children over the next two weeks.
School closes for the Easter holidays at the end of the day on Thursday 28 March and reopens in Monday 15 April.

Our choir and individual instrumentalists enjoyed sharing their musical journey with parent and grandparents in a Music Showcase event. Children who are learning to play the guitar, violin and piano played individually, with small group performances from children learning the guitar and violin.
The event was warmly received by the audience and we hope to hold more in the future.
On Friday 22 March, Mr Stewart, parent and lead engineer for Triumph Motor Cycle racing led an assembly on his job and how this links to maths, design and science. Afterwards, Year 4 worked him on a DT challenge.
