On 29th and 30th of September, Year 5 visited Lea Green to take part in a Geography field work course. The conducted a river study, testing the water quality, velocity and depth of Lea Brook. They made field sketches and conducted a number of experiments. In the afternoon, the children took part in some adventurous and team building activities.
Each class learned more about how to keep safe online from expert, Traci Goode.
A workshop for parents was also held in the early evening.
On Thursday 15 September, the whole school enjoyed listening to Vivalidi's Four Seasons, played by Project String Quartet. It was helpful to hear how the instruments represented weather, animals and other features of each season.
