Science Week 2023: Connections
Poster Competition Winners: Phoebe, Amelia, Jessica & Archie
Dr Curtis visited our Year 3 and 4 classes and the children were very inspired by the connections he showed them between science and practising medicine.
Mrs Hill works for the Environment Agency and she visited our Year 5 and 6 classes. She was impressed by how much the children had remembered from their lessons about food chains in Year 4 and life cycles at the start of Year 5. We were all very excited to hear about her work with invasive species and how her team investigates making different equipment, using recycled materials, to be most effective at catching certain river species.
We were very excited to be offered places for some of our Year 5&6 children to learn about 'The Art of Manufacturing' at Toyota.
