  • Music at MJS

    Tue 24 Oct 2023

We have enjoyed two live musical performances in assemblies this week. Reverend Steve Short came into school to lead the music assembly on Tuesday. He brought his collection of recorders and demonstrated the music that can be created with this range of instruments, the children were thoroughly entertained. The Year 5 and 6 children will start their recorder lessons after the half-term holiday.

On Wednesday 4 children who are learning to play the violin, played for the school.

If your child is interested in taking up an instrument, we have vacancies for the following: violin, brass, flute or clarinet. If you have ordered a recorder for your child these have arrived in school and will be given out after half-term.
