Four buses took the whole school to Derby Arena to see Mother Goose. This was the first visit since 2019 and was enjoyed by all.
The mission for the day was to save Christmas joy after if was stolen from Mrs Whirledge by the Grinch.
Year 3 and 4 were very proud to perform their concerts on three occasions this week to full houses. The acting, singing and technical production were a credit to all the children and the staff who support them.

A team of nine boys in Year 6 took part in the Kids' Cup football competition on Wednesday at Lees Brook Academy, Derby. They worked really well as a team and came third overall out of 13 teams.
Heather Wheeler, our local MP, toured the school, answered questions in assembly and met with governors. Several Year 6 children posed interesting questions for her to answer.
